Eugen Indjic (piano)Indjic's father was an army general under King Peter II of Yugoslavia. Emigrating at the age of 4 to the USA with his Russian mother, he made his first public appearance at the age of 8 in a Mozart Piano Concerto. He then studied in Boston University with Alexsander Borovsky (a classmate of Serge Prokofiev) until he was 13, and often played with Arthur Fiedler and his famous 'Boston Pops' Orchestra. A Leonard Bernstein Scholar at Harvard, Eugen Indjic later studied in Paris with Nadia Boulanger. Prize-winner of the Warsaw (1970), Leeds (1972), and the Rubinstein Tel Aviv (1974) International Competitions, Indjic has performed with leading orchestra in the United States, Europe and Asia, under such conductors as Leonard Bernstein, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Valery Gergiev, Eugen Jochum, Rafael Kubelik, Erich Leinsdorf, Kurt Sanderling, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Georg Solti, Edo de Waart and David Zinman. He continues to play regularly on the great world stages such as Carnegie Hall Isaac Styern Auditorium, Avery Fisher Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Concertgebouw Grote Zaal, the Musikverein, Salle Pleyel and Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Bolshoi Hall and La Scala.An extraordinary pianist and musician Leonard Bernstein TICKETS
