Current programme of events
| After two years of celebrations with the 2010 Chopin bicentenary and our own 40th Anniversary, we have returned to our usual concert format of monthly concerts, which members attend free. Most of these recitals take place at Westminster Cathedral Hall, which is now the Society's permanent venue. Our 2013-4 season opens in April with a recital by Cristina Ortiz. The following month the pianist will be Mishka Rushdie Momen – one of Britain’s most promising young artists. There will again be an evening event at Hatchlands Park, Surrey when Paula Rios will play the Chopin Pleyel, adopted by the Chopin Society in 2011. Other artists lined up for this season include Colin Stone, Sofya Gulyak, Yves Henry and Leslie Howard. See forthcoming recitals. |
