Cholmondeley Castle is the ancient seat of the Marquess of Cholmondeley, hereditary Lord Great Chamberlain of England.
The Castle Garden is said by many to be amongst the most romantically beautiful gardens they have seen. (See a picture of the Temple Garden in autumn).
Cholmondeley Castle is situated near Malpas, Cheshire, off the A49 Whitchurch/Taporley Road. See map.
The Garden is open to the public on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from April to September.
